If there’s one thing more powerful than the Wyoming wind, it’s Tassma Powers in a board meeting.
You always know when Tassma enters the room—because the room gets quiet, the thermostat gets adjusted, and suddenly we’re all somehow sitting up straighter. She doesn’t just take a seat at the table—she arranges the table, runs the meeting, and resets the temperature to “Tassma degrees,” which is somewhere between subarctic and executive comfort.
Tassma has that rare ability to command a room without raising her voice—just a single glance over the top of her glasses and you’re reviewing bylaws like your life depends on it. She’s not just on the board—she is the board’s spine, structure, and occasional heat source.
But underneath that steel exterior is someone who genuinely cares about this community, pushes us toward excellence, and won’t rest until David Street Station runs smoother than a Casper winter ice rink.
